FAQ
Straight answers, before you commit
These are the questions clients ask most often before a project begins. If yours is not here, send it over and you will get a real answer rather than a sales call.
Working together
How does a project usually start?
With a short conversation about your business, your customers and what you want to change. If it looks like a fit, we send a written proposal with scope, timeline and price. Nothing starts until you are happy with all three.
Do you require long contracts?
No. Projects are fixed-scope, and monthly programmes run month to month. You can pause with notice, and we would rather earn the next month than lock you in.
Who will I actually talk to?
The person leading your project, not a rotating account team. Designers, developers and marketers join calls when their part is being discussed, so you always speak to the person doing the work.
We are in a different time zone. Does that matter?
It works well. Most collaboration happens in writing through a shared board, and calls are scheduled in your working hours. You get a reply on the next business day at the latest.
Do we own what you build?
Yes, completely. Domains, hosting, code, content, design files and analytics accounts stay in your name, and we hand over documentation at the end of the project.
Websites and design
How much should we budget for a website?
A focused business website typically lands between $649 and $2,900 depending on page count and custom features. Stores, portals and apps are quoted separately. You always receive a fixed price before work begins.
How long does a website take to build?
A compact site is usually live in two to three weeks. A larger custom site takes four to six weeks. Delays are almost always content-related, which is why we plan the writing stage early.
Who writes the content?
Either is fine. Many clients send their own text and images, and we edit it into shape. If you would rather we write it, we interview you, draft the pages and revise them with you.
How many rounds of design changes are included?
Two structured review rounds at each stage, with consolidated feedback. That keeps decisions moving and avoids the endless redesign loop. Additional rounds are quoted if you want them.
Can you work with our existing website?
Often, yes. If the foundations are sound we improve the design, speed and structure rather than starting again. If the build is holding you back, we will tell you honestly and explain the trade-off.
Search, AI and marketing
How long before SEO shows results?
Technical fixes can improve things within weeks. Ranking and traffic growth usually becomes visible over three to six months, because it depends on content, competition and authority in your market.
What exactly is AI GEO?
It is the work of making your brand easier for AI assistants to understand and cite: consistent entity data, structured markup, answer-first content and presence on the sources those systems rely on. We never promise placement inside a third-party answer.
Do you need a big ad budget to start?
No. We would rather start with a modest budget, tight targeting and good landing pages, then scale what produces qualified enquiries. Wasted spend is more damaging than slow spend.
Can you manage our social media end to end?
Yes. That includes strategy, monthly calendars, creative production, publishing, replies and reporting. You approve the plan before anything goes live and keep ownership of every account.
How do you report performance?
In plain language. You receive a monthly summary covering what changed, what the numbers show and what we recommend next, with access to the live dashboards behind it.
Hosting, care and handover
Where will the site be hosted?
Anywhere you like, including HostGator, cPanel hosts, Cloudways or your existing provider. We set it up in your account, keep your domain and email in your name, and document the configuration.
What does a care plan actually cover?
Updates, off-site backups, security and malware monitoring, uptime and speed checks, a monthly report and included support hours for small changes. It is preventive work rather than emergency work.
What if something breaks after launch?
Every project includes a post-launch support window. After that, care plan clients get priority response, and we will still help non-retainer clients find the fastest route to a fix.
Can you train our team to manage the site?
Yes. We record a walkthrough of the CMS, write short documentation for your most common edits and stay available for questions while your team gets comfortable.
What happens if we want to move on later?
You take everything with you. We provide access details, documentation and a clean handover to whoever takes over, with no exit fees or hostage accounts.
